May 2016 updates

See the update on another successful Multicultural Dinner.

Survey Results: Speaker Night for 2016/2017.  Thanks for completing the survey.  The top two choices were Family Science Night and Building Resiliency.  Parent Council will apply for funding for a Family Science Night in 2016/2017.  It is hoped that next school year the Parent Involvement Committee will have one of their Speaker Series cover the topic of resiliency in children.

Parent Council Communication.  Come to the next Parent Council this Wednesday and join in the discussion.  Do you need to contact someone?  Find them on our contact page.  Also check out our school community’s Facebook page.   Feel free to start a new thread or catch up on recent threads like shade structures for the kinder yard or getting free admission to the Diefenbunker.
