Our Monday Pizza and Friday Popcorn fundraisers are back!

THE ORDER SYSTEM FOR PIZZA AND POPCORN IS READY TO GO FOR THIS SCHOOL YEAR

Thank you for considering to participate in this fundraiser that the parent council does to support the many activities that Parent Council provides for all children at Pleasant Park School.

WEEKLY Pizza MONDAY!

Pizza is ordered per term and you can order for 13 weeks starting Monday Sept 23rd to Monday Dec 16th for Pizza Pizza pizza to be delivered to your student’s class room during 2nd nutritional break at 1:15pm.

We offer slices of either cheese or pepperoni and cheese at a cost of $2.50/slice.

We also are offering on a trial basis the ability to order a small gluten-free or dairy-free whole pizza. This pizza will come in the box to your student so that they can take any leftovers home. We are only offering these options as a whole pizza to avoid any contamination issues.

For your student to receive pizza on Monday Sept 23rd, your order and payment have to be in by Sunday September 22nd at noon.

Students cannot bring money into school to buy pizza since we have no ability to make change, we want to ensure that they have parental permission to buy pizza, and we have to preorder the pizza.

When there is a holiday or snow day on a Monday we will do “Pizza Tuesdays.  No refunds or replacement lunches will be given for missed days due to sickness or vacations.

BIWEEKLY Popcorn FRIDAY!

We also are offering popcorn every other week on Friday for $2/bag. Our first popcorn day will be Friday Sept 27th.

You do not have to order for the term and can order for each Friday up to the day before Popcorn day.

Popcorn is popped locally by Papa Jacks just a couple kilometers from our school. Flavours are listed on the online form.

Student can bring in $2 on Popcorn Day to buy at the school instead of ordering online. However cash sales on popcorn Friday are limited to what is left over, so we strongly encourage you to pre-order to reduce the amount of disappointed little faces.

If there is a holiday or PD day, we will do Popcorn Thursday as listed online.

Popcorn will be left in the classroom for any student who are away and missed Popcorn Friday due to snow day, sickness, vacation, etc.

PAYMENT ONLINE THROUGH WEBSITE

All our payments are done securely through PayPal with no fee to you.

PayPal allows you to pay:

(a) With your credit card.

(b) From your PayPal account.

(c) With an electronic funds transfer from your bank account (a PayPal “eCheck”).

We use this site to save paper, save your time, and allow us to easily track our fundraising that is supporting Pleasant Park School!

A few items of note:

  • Order deadline is Saturday, September 26th at midnight
  • Term 1 start date Monday, September 28th until January 11th
  • Everyone needs to create a new account on

pleasantpark.hotlunches.net

        For security all the previous years accounts are purged.

  • If you have some time to spare on some Mondays, you can sign up online to volunteer.
  • If a holiday falls on a Monday, pizza day is on the Tuesday!
